APPLY FOR GARDEN SUPPORT
We understand that keeping a garden maintained isn't always easy. Health conditions, disabilities, financial difficulties, or challenging personal circumstances can make it difficult to manage an outdoor space.
We aim to support people who are struggling with gardens that have become overgrown, neglected, or difficult to maintain.
If you think you or someone you know could benefit from some extra support, we would love to hear from you.
Tell us a little about your circumstances and your garden, and we'll do our best to understand how we may be able to help.

Who can apply?
Our aim is to support people who face barriers when maintaining their gardens, including:
-
Vulnerable individuals experiencing difficult circumstances.
-
People living with disabilities or health-related limitations.
-
Individuals and families on low incomes.
-
Families caring for children with disabilities.
We understand that everyone's circumstances are different. You don't need to feel embarrassed about the condition of your garden - we're here to listen, not judge.
Please note: Submitting an enquiry doesn't guarantee that we can carry out the work. Each request will be considered individually, depending on the garden, the support needed, volunteer availability, and resources.
Gardens that need attention
Wild Haven focuses on helping people with existing gardens that have become difficult to maintain, rather than empty spaces simply needing a new design.
We may be able to consider gardens that need:
-
Overgrown grass and vegetation cut back.
-
General garden clearance and tidying.
-
Weeding and border maintenance.
-
Planting and simple garden improvements.
-
Practical changes to make the garden easier to use.
-
Wildlife-friendly improvements where appropriate.

Please note - We may not be able to undertake major landscaping, dangerous tree work, or specialist electrical and structural work. The work we can offer will depend on the garden, available volunteers, equipment and funding.
